Why this exists
Most coaching businesses run on four tools that were never meant to meet: a spreadsheet for the programming, a messaging app for the client relationship, a notes app for what happened in the session, and a bank transfer for the money. Each one works. Together they leak — a set logged in one place and never seen in another, a client who drifts for three weeks before anyone notices, an invoice remembered on a Sunday evening.
Agonos is the argument that those four things are one job. Build the programme, send it to a phone, see what was actually done, talk about it, get paid for it — in one place, with one record of the client.
Who it is for
Independent coaches, strength and conditioning staff, online coaches, and clubs with several coaches sharing a roster. What they have in common is that the product they sell is attention, and that every hour spent copying a set from one tool into another is an hour not spent on it.
It is deliberately not a gym-management system. There is no front desk, no door access, no membership card. Those are a different business with a different buyer.
How we build it
The client app comes first. A coaching tool is only as good as the app the client opens on a Tuesday evening in a noisy gym. If they do not log the set, the coach has nothing, and every feature above it is decoration.
One record per client. Programme, logs, measurements, photos, messages and payments belong to the same person, not to five subsystems that each hold a fragment. That is what makes "how is she actually doing" a question with an answer.
Nothing that only demos well. Features are judged on the fiftieth week of use, not the first ten minutes.
Where your data lives
In the European Union. The database, authentication and file storage are run on Supabase's Frankfurt infrastructure, and every table enforces per-organisation isolation in the database itself rather than in application code — an account can only read the rows belonging to its own organisation, whatever the application above it does.
Push notifications are the one thing that leaves: the title and body of an alert pass through Apple's or Google's servers to reach a phone, which is the only way any app on either platform can notify anyone. We keep them short for that reason.
