The app is free
The Agonos mobile app is free to download and free to use, in full. Every screen and every feature in it works the same for everyone who is signed in.
There is nothing to buy inside the app. No subscription, no unlockable feature, no premium tier, no credits, no trial that ends. The app takes no payment and holds no payment method, and no part of it is reserved for people who have paid for something.
If you pay your coach for coaching, that is an arrangement between you and them, settled however they settle it. It happens outside the app, we are not a party to it, and we only ever see what your coach chooses to type in as a record.
Who this is between
These terms are between you and Agonos ("Agonos", "we", "us"). They cover the mobile app on iOS and Android and nothing else.
Installing the app or signing in means you accept them. If you do not, the app is one tap to delete.
Your account
You need an account, and you get one either from an invite your coach sends you or by creating one yourself. Use a real email address you control, keep your password to yourself, and tell us at contact@agonos.app if you think somebody else is in your account.
One account is one person. Do not share it, and do not create one for somebody else without them knowing.
The app is not for children under 16.
What the app is for, and what it is not
The app carries the programme your coach writes for you, records what you actually did, shows your measurements over time, and gives you one thread to talk to your coach in.
It is not medical advice, and neither is your coach. Nothing in the app diagnoses, treats or prevents anything. The numbers it shows you, including any estimate it calculates from your measurements, are informational. If you have a condition, an injury, or a doubt, talk to a doctor before training, and stop if something hurts.
You train at your own risk, and you are responsible for deciding that a session is appropriate for you on the day.
Your coach
Your coach runs their own practice. They decide what to programme, what to record about you, and what to say to you. We host it for them; we do not supervise it and we do not check it.
A disagreement about your coaching, your sessions or what you owe your coach is between you and them. Anything abusive, though, is ours: report it in the app or write to contact@agonos.app.
What you may not do
- Use the app to harass, threaten or abuse anybody, or to send content that is illegal, hateful or sexual.
- Send somebody else's personal data or photos without their agreement.
- Try to reach data that is not yours, break the app, load it automatically, or take it apart to rebuild it.
- Impersonate anybody, including a coach.
What you send
Your logs, measurements, photos, videos and messages stay yours. You give us permission to store them and show them to the people the app is meant to show them to, which is your coach and anybody else in a thread you are in, and to nobody else. We do not use them to train anything, we do not sell them, and we do not advertise against them.
The privacy policy sets out what is collected, why, and for how long.
Availability
We try to keep the app up and we do not promise it always will be. It changes: features arrive, change shape, and occasionally leave. A change that materially affects you gets said in the app rather than left here to be found.
Ending it
You can stop at any time. Delete your account from You → Delete my account, which is immediate and permanent, and Deleting your account sets out exactly what goes and what stays.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that we are legally required to close, or that is being used to harm somebody. Where it is fair to warn you first, we will.
Liability
The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, for training decisions you or your coach make, or for what a coach does with the record they keep. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Your statutory rights as a consumer are untouched.
Law
French law governs these terms, and the courts of France have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in, and the right to bring a claim where you live.
Changes to these terms
We update this page and move the date at the top when they change. Continuing to use the app after a material change means you accept it; if you do not, delete your account.
